INVITATION TO BID ON COUNTY PROJECT

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Jasper County Mississippi at the Jasper County Courthouse, Bay Springs, Mississippi, until 10:00 A.M. on Monday July 6, 2026 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the construction of 5.668 miles of MAINTENANCE (OTHER THAN BRIDGE) on the CR 12 Taylorsville-Paulding Road being known as State Aid Program (SAP) Project No. SAP-31(10)M in Jasper County Mississippi. OF SALE OF USED COUNTY EQUIPMENT

Whereas, the Board of Supervisors of Jasper County, Mississippi, considers it necessary and to the best interest of the public that notice be given of the sale of used equipment, it is therefore:

Ordered that the Clerk of the Board, do forthwith cause to be published in the manner provided by law, the following notice, to-wit:

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Jasper County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2026 for the sale by Jasper County, Mississippi of the following used equipment, to-wit:

Item 1- Caterpillar Backhoe Loader purchased in November 2015 Serial # SWC00209 Model # 430 E 4CE

Item 2- Caterpillar Front End Wheel Loader purchased in September 2011 Serial # CAT0938HEMJC00374

Item 3- Caterpillar Bull Dozer purchased in December 2008 Serial # RKG02180 Model # D5G L

The property will be sold by Jasper County, Mississippi at fair market value to the highest bidder for cash, certified check or money order, except the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Separate bids are to be submitted on each item, in a separate envelope, and certified funds are required with bid. Items to include on the outside of the envelope are as follows: Jasper County Board of Supervisors, Item No. you wish to bid on, and name of bidder. Please include contact information so that we can notify the winning bidder.

All bids are to be filed with the Chancery Clerk in the Town of Bay Springs, Mississippi on or before the said hour and date, and will be opened at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting to be held on June 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM in Bay Springs, MS.
