During the summer months, due to the heat, Meridian Waste made the decision to start the garbage collection at 5:00 am. This start time has proved to be beneficial to all parties involved and it has been decided that all garbage routes will begin collection at 5:00 am until further notice. Please continue to have your can out by the road the night before or by 5:00 am to ensure that there are no hiccups in your service. Starting January 1, 2026, no garbage will be collected if the garbage is in a personal can. It must be in a Meridian Waste/ADSI garbage can or simply placed on the ground next to the Meridian Waste/ADSI Garbage can. If your can is broken and needs to be replaced, please contact the Solid Waste Department and make a request for a new can. If you would like to purchase an additional can from the county, you may do so as well.
