DJ Transit Inc is honored to announce it will begin a Walmart Shopping Route on April 30, 2026. This bus will pick up in Heidelberg and Sandersville.
Community surveys strongly suggest these routes will be most valuable to citizens in your areas. Please see more details in the enclosed flyer. We plan to establish a route in Bay Springs, Ms. this year as soon as possible.
To serve the people, we need a LOCATION for the Heidelberg pickup & drop-off. I reached out to Ms. Rush at the Multi-County Community Service Agency to see if this Multi County Building parking lot could serve as a possible pickup location. I was directed to you for consideration.
Do you feel the Jasper County Board of Supervisors can approve DJ Transit, Inc.’s request to use the Multi-County Building Parking Lot as the pickup/drop-off location for the Heidelberg Walmart Shopping Route? If approved, what protocol does Jasper County need from us? Also, If not this location, do you have another place you would recommend?
